Smart Lighting Control for Longport, NJ Homes
Izzo Network installs smart lighting control for Longport, NJ homes. One keypad by the door runs a departure scene that turns the lights off and closes the shades when you leave on Sunday night, and an arrival scene lights the house before you walk in. We plan scenes around your rooms and quote after a free visit.
A house that runs itself on Sunday night
Quiet blocks in Longport should not need a pile of apps when the car is packed. The house runs a Sunday-night scene from the keypad at the door you actually leave from. Lights go to the away schedule. You are not standing in the driveway checking room by room.
The departure scene
Departure is one button. Lights shift to the empty-house schedule, shades close, and climate can move to the setback on that same press. It is not a checklist. If a room should stay dim for a reason, we write that into the scene before we leave.
The arrival scene
Arrival is the reverse. The house is lit before you walk in, at the level the rooms need, not every lamp at full. You can start it from the panel when you are close, if the house has internet. The keypad still does it if you would rather press a button.
The panel by the door
The panel by the door is the control, not a stack of apps on the counter. It shows a few scenes. It is set up to work when the internet does not. Phone control from the road is extra, and it needs the connection at the house.
When a scene drifts
If a scene stops matching the house, call the local number. We stay local. The goal is that Sunday night is not a puzzle you solve from the parkway.
Downbeach neighbors
Longport sits with Margate City and Ventnor. A lighting plan here is not a copy of those towns. Margate houses often sit empty midweek. Ventnor houses are taller and narrower. Longport is the Sunday-night close. We work all three.

Questions
- What is a departure (away) scene, and what does it turn off?
- A departure scene is the Sunday-night close. One keypad press sets the lights to the empty-house schedule and closes the shades. Climate can go to its setback on that same scene. It does not turn the whole house into a dark box if you asked for a path light to stay.
- Can I turn the lights on before I arrive?
- Yes. The arrival scene lights the rooms before you walk in. You can start it from the phone when the house has internet, or press the keypad when you are at the door. The levels are planned for the rooms, not every switch at full.
- What happens if a scene stops working?
- Call the local number. We stay local if a scene drifts. The keypad and the panel are the first place to look. A scene is a few buttons, not a setup you have to rebuild.
- Can motorized shades be on the same scene as the lights?
- Yes. In Longport the departure scene closes the shades with the lights. They still work by hand if the network is down. Sun on the glass is part of the plan, not a second system you have to remember.
- Do you also work in Margate and Ventnor?
- Yes. Longport, Margate City, and Ventnor are all on this site. The lighting page for Margate City is separate, because those houses sit empty midweek more often. Ventnor is planned around tall, narrow houses. The studio is in Mays Landing.
- How is a Longport lighting project priced?
- After a free visit, not from a rate card. We look at the rooms, the glass, and what is already in the walls, then quote. The cost guide lists what changes the price and does not list dollar amounts. Call (609) 415-0011, Mon–Fri 8am–6pm.
