Check the house from your phone
While you are away you can check cameras, locks, the thermostat, and leak or temperature alerts from your phone. That view needs internet at the house. The keypad and the wall panel still run scenes when the internet does not.
Alerts go to your phone. That is self-monitoring, not a central station. The studio number is local if something needs a person.

Hardwired. No batteries to charge.
Every camera install is wired. Cameras cover the door, the drive, and the pool. Recording stays at the house on UniFi, and you can open the same view on your phone.
Cameras are aimed at the property, not the neighbors. Outdoor gear is placed for salt air, and the closet stays indoors.

Wi-Fi, lighting, shades, and audio
Whole-home Wi-Fi
Access points are placed for the floor plan, including decks, garages, and outbuildings. A dock is part of the same plan when the house has one. Guests sit on their own network, separate from locks and cameras.
Lighting, shades, and audio
Lighting is a Lutron keypad by the door, with scenes for arrival, evening, and away. Motorized shades follow that scene when the sun hits the glass. Whole-home audio, including outdoor speakers, uses the same scenes. Works with Sonos.
