Northfield houses are lived in every day, so the system has to work for everyone, not just whoever set it up. Keypads have plain labels. The kids get their own lock codes, and the wall panel shows lights, thermostat, and cameras without digging through menus. If something drifts later, the local number gets you a real person.
Wi-Fi for work and school
Working from home, school video calls, and streaming in the evening all hit the Wi-Fi at the same time. Access points on each floor are connected by cable, so the office upstairs gets the same signal as the router closet. The family and guests are on separate networks.
