Questions
- Where do the keypads go?
- At the doors and stairs you actually use. A keypad in a hall you skip does not get used. We mark the spots on the walk-through, before any cable is pulled. Quotes follow that visit, not a rate card.
- Will the dimmers work with the lamps I have?
- We match dimmers to the lamps already in the house so they do not flicker. If a lamp cannot dim cleanly, we say so before it is ordered. The away scene still runs on a schedule when the house is empty.
- Does lighting work if the internet drops?
- Yes, at the wall. The panel is set up to run scenes when the internet does not. Control from your phone, away from the house, needs internet at the house. A keypad by the door does not.
