IZZO Network designs and installs these systems for shore and vacation homes from Margate to Cape May, with one wall panel that runs Home Assistant and an app with the same layout. What it means in a shore house
The house is empty on Tuesday and full on Friday. Home automation is the scenes that cover that, not a drawer of remotes. Lights, climate, shades, and sound follow one plan. You set it once. The house follows.

The panel runs Home Assistant. The app uses the same layout. A few scenes, not a settings maze. It keeps working when the internet does not. See the panel page for the details.

Arrive, Evening, Away, and Movie are the scenes we start from. Arrive lights the rooms and settles the temperature. Away quiets the house. Movie drops the lights in that room. We rename them to match how you actually use the house.
What it connects
Lighting, climate, shades, Wi-Fi, theater, and audio each have their own page. Locks and cameras can appear on the same panel.

- What is a home automation system?
- A home automation system ties lights, thermostats, shades, and sound to one set of scenes. One press can set the house for arrival or for an empty week. IZZO Network installs that for shore houses from Margate to Cape May. The quote follows a free walk-through.
- Does it still work if the internet goes down?
- Yes, at the wall. The panel is set up to run scenes when the internet does not. Shades still work by hand if the network is down. Checking the house from your phone, away from the shore, needs the internet connection at the house.
- Can I control the house from my phone?
- Yes. The app uses the same layout as the wall panel, so the phone is not a second system to learn. That control needs internet at the house. When you are standing in the kitchen, the keypad and the panel do not.
- What does the wall panel run on?
- The wall panel runs Home Assistant. The screens are short: a few scenes, not a settings maze. It is the same idea in the houses we do.
- Do you work on vacation houses that sit empty during the week?
- Yes. Most of the work is shore houses that sit empty during the week. An away scene holds the lights and the climate until you come back. The studio is in Mays Landing. We do not take jobs outside South Jersey.
- Do you work with my architect or builder?
- Yes. On a new build we mark the closet, the keypads, and the shade pockets while the walls are open. Trim follows when the rooms are ready. The partner page is for architects, builders, and designers. Call (609) 415-0011.
